Hi,
My name is Darin. I won't bore you with the details of my life yet, for now you can just checkout the "about" page. For several years now I have helped sound engineers in small churches improve their sound systems and their craft of running sound. I thought it would be great to have a place where I could share the practical information that I have aquired, as well as learn a few things from everyone else. Also, to have a place where sound engineers could link up with each other to solve each others problems and give ideas.
Often times in small churches there is a big desire to have great sound systems for contemporary praise and worship, but a small budget to accomplish this goal. If you are like me you have a full time job and are a weekend warrior sound engineer. There's not a lot of time to learn the technical jargon, you just need to know how to practically make it work. I believe there is a place to have a little bit of both. I am in no way a trained professional, but I have some ideas I can pass on that may help. As you see new posts pop up feel free to join the conversation.
